Bare-root hedging plants are field-grown saplings that are lifted during their dormant season (typically late autumn to early spring). Sold without soil around their roots, they are lighter, easier to handle, and more affordable than container-grown plants.

While they may look simple at first—just stems and roots—don’t be fooled. Once planted, they quickly establish and burst into life in spring.
