Pears are easy to grow and are available in many forms & rootstocks. Choose one that works for you. A pear grown in a pot using Quince Eline rootstock will be great for even the smallest garden. A conference or Concorde variety grown on a Quince A rootstock is a very versatile plant and be put in most positions. There are also fan trained, espalier, cordon & step over trained forms often available. Fancy a challenge try growing an espalier form a 1 year old tree or a feathered whip!
