Rivers Early Prolific, also known as Early Rivers is a popular dessert variety. As the name suggests, a good heavy cropping early season plum. Produces very attractive small, bluish-purple fruits that have a lavender bloom of good quality. Flesh is golden yellow, rather firm, juicy, sweet and of good flavour.
