Magnolia Daybreak (Rose Pink)

Magnolia 'Daybreak' grows into a small to medium sized tree of a broad pyramidal outline with a twiggy network of branches and distinctive fissured bark. The fragrant flowers have eight rose-pink tepals that splay out to 23-25cm and appear from an early age. In bud they emerge with a slight green cast and then open to a suffusion of rose and pink. Darker on the outside of the tepals and lighter on the inside.
